Black Hills Corp. Utility Receives Regulatory Approval to Increase Revenues

Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) utility subsidiary Black Hills Power today received approval from the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission of a settlement agreement that allows the company to increase its electric revenues in South Dakota.

Black Hills Corp. Announces Quarterly Dividend

RAPID CITY, S.D. — Jan. 25, 2023 — Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) today announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly dividend at a meeting held Jan. 25, 2023. Common shareholders of record at the close of business on Feb. 14, 2023, will receive $0.625 per share, payable March 1, 2023.

This dividend announcement marks 81 consecutive years that Black Hills has paid annual dividends, starting in February 1942 when its predecessor company, Black Hills Power & Light Company, was newly incorporated.

(NYSE: BKH) today announced that Richard Kinzley, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will retire from the Company in mid-2023 after a distinguished career with the company. Consistent with the company’s long-standing and comprehensive leadership succession plan, Kimberly Nooney, the company’s vice president corporate controller and treasurer, will be appointed senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer effective April 1, 2023. Kinzley will provide transition support until his retirement to ensure a smooth succession.

(NYSE: BKH) today announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly dividend of $0.625 per share, an increase of $0.03 per share, or 5.0%, over last quarter’s dividend. Common shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 17, 2022, will receive $0.625 per share, payable Dec. 1, 2022.
