You Can Now View Your Electric Usage

Ever wonder how much more electricity you’re using now that you have a new flat-screen TV? Or maybe you want to know what time of day your family uses the most energy. Or even how much more electricity you use in the summer when it’s hot compared to the spring when it’s not as.

Wonder no more.

Introducing your Energy Usage Graph.

This handy feature lets you view your electricity use by year, month or day. You can even download your usage in 15-minute increments.

It’s located under "Your Usage Tab" in your account.

You can find more details about how to save money and energy here.

Dan @ BHC: Hi Renee, give customer service a call (1-888-890-5554) and they can help you find your account number (located in the top right corner of your bill if you receive a paper copy). Dan @ BHC: Hi Ken, once you log into your account there will be a link on the left (in the grey navigation bar) that says "Your Usage". Click that and it will display a graph.

james: nope. There does not appear to be any opportunity to download the 15 minute increments. I see the energy usage bar graph, but that is it.

Max @ BHC: Hi James. There should be an "Export Usage" button in your left navigation. It's right underneath the Your Usage button. Just select your address, the year and month you want to export, hit the "Load Usage Data" button, then download. Let us know if you have any questions.

Max @ BHC: Hi Remedios. When you reset your password, an email is sent to the email address in your BHP profile that includes the token. If you click the link provided in that email, you shouldn’t need to enter the token. Let me know if that doesn’t work for you.

Max @ Black Hills: Hi James. Your account number is located in the upper right corner of your bill. You will need to set up an online profile on our website to view your bill online. Let me know if you need instructions for how to do that.

Lorelei Peters: I called customer service because I couldn't log into my account last night. It wanted me to enter a new password, which I did, but it didn't work. I received an email sending me a token, but that didn't work either. I called customer service this afternoon & she said someone would call me about the online billing account problem, but she said I would receive an email about enrolling in e-bill (paperless billing), too, since I was asking about that. I received that email with a new token in it, but that doesn't work either! That token # is: V636163719686. It sure would be nice if someone would fix my account for online billing! Thanks!

Kelsey@BlackHills: Hi Lorelei, my apologies for the confusion. When you request to receive a token via email, you'll need to enter that token on the same screen from which you requested it. So, do not close your web browser window, keep the screen up, check your email for the token, and paste that token into the original screen. I know it's a confusing process, and I apologize for that. Please give us a call on Monday if you're still experiencing issues. Thank you.
