Mercury Removal Does Not, in Fact, Involve Cartoon Bubbles

So, I don’t know about you, but every time I hear the term “mercury scrubbing,” I can’t help but picture those little cartoon bubbles that are the mascots for the bathroom cleaner “Scrubbing Bubbles.”
Fortunately, a couple of our folks who work in our Environmental Services group, Tim Mordhorst and Gary Theis, help set me straight.

Biking duo takes kids on virtual tours of the world

Images of the World is a unique venture owned by husband-and-wife team Bruce Junek and Tass Thacker. The duo has traveled all around the world on bicycles and presents programs about their travels to students in schools throughout our service territories. The programs focus on adventure, social studies, science, geographic, history, art and culture. The pair finds things in each country to inspire kids.

Here, the husband half of the team, Bruce, talks about what their presentations mean to kids, especially those on the fringe.
