Save money on your federal income taxes by contributing to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account. By setting aside a designated amount from each pay period on a pre-tax basis, capped by an annual maximum, you can pay your share of medical, dental and vision expenses that your BHC healthcare benefits do not cover, such as co-pays, deductibles, approved over-the-counter drugs and medications. As you pay for these expenses, you are reimbursed from your account on a tax-free basis. - Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

Supplemental coverage is available at a group rate; these products are fully portable. - 401(k) and BHC match
Save for your future and retirement years by contributing to our 401(k) program. Contributions are deducted from your pay, then invested in options that you choose (BHC stock is one option). We will match up to 6%, so you can accumulate savings faster. - Enhanced 401(k)
In addition to our company match, Black Hills Corporation will contribute up to 4% of your earnings to your retirement account each pay period. This contribution is determined by a schedule taking into consideration years of service and age. - Short-Term Disability
Compensation provided to eligible employees who incur a disabling physical or mental condition that temporarily prevents them from working. - Long-Term Disability
Compensation provided to eligible employees who are unable to return to work; this may provide a monthly benefit (a percentage of monthly earnings) or a maximum benefit amount. - Life Insurance
